Chuck Fisher

Chuck has over 30 years experience as an urban planner/project manager working for local and federal government and as executive director of an affordable housing non-governmental organization. He has a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Oregon; a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from Portland State University and has completed coursework (ABD) for a PhD in Urban Studies, with field areas of community development and international development. 

As a part of his PhD studies, Chuck has taught international development classes and co-led undergraduate seminars to Nicaragua. In both his professional and educational career, he has participated in and designed a breadth of research, assessment and evaluation techniques including: focus groups, interviews, survey design, asset and community mapping and design charrettes. Chuck’s experience also includes writing and managing grants received from a variety of government and foundation sources.

Chuck joined the Rotary Club of Keizer, Oregon in 2010, and transferred to the E-Club of WASH in 2019 because of frequent traveling and a desire to become more engaged in WASH projects with Rotary. Over his 10 years in Rotary he has served as: GSE Croatia host/area coordinator; Argentine RFE host; YEC chair/host, International Service chair and board liaison; Thailand RFE leader, and; Brazil RFE.
