Meghan Prentiss is a mission-driven leader and change-maker with over 6 years of experience spearheading innovative public health programs with a strong background in and passion for international development and WASH.

She has worked at the Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) for over 5 years. In her current role as a Regional Health Connector in Adams County, Colorado, she connects primary care, community-based organizations, health and human services and other partners to coordinate services and advance community health initiatives. Since March 2020, Meghan has also served on the TCHD COVID-19 Incident Command Response team as a Community Testing Liaison, providing technical assistance to local government officials, medical providers, and community partners to stand up COVID-19 testing sites for residents, especially uninsured, homeless and Latino/a populations. Prior to these roles, she worked for two years at TCHD to develop tracking systems, form and train review teams, and finalize documentation for public health accreditation, contributing to TCHD’s current accredited status. 

Meghan has experience in project management in a wide range of public health and global health projects – from survey development and evaluation of water and sanitation services in informal settlements of Delhi, India to planning large-scale conferences and writing/implementing grants with partners in her position on the Board of the Colorado Public Health Association. She is a systems thinker and passionate about working with diverse networks of individuals and organizations to advance common objectives that strengthen evidence-based practices to advance population health.

Meghan holds a Master’s in International Development with a Certificate in Global Health and emphasis in Project Management from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
